Back in 1977, I wrote a short story that was accepted by the Mesa Library's Science-Fiction Magazine. They had identified that story as a psychological thriller. To my surprise, I'm still writing this bent of stories, but the book industry now call them paranormals or urban fantasy. And my paranormal stories have some unique mix of horror or time-travel and definitely romance, because love is important no matter what you are reading.
I've had readers on the Facebook fan page say that just snippets of scenes from these stories I've shared over the last few years made them want to read more. There are two great thrills as an author - when we autograph our books for readers who want to read our works, and when they ask for more about these characters.
Why am I sharing these stories now in a more formal setting online? These characters were created to be shared - not to be kept to myself. While I'm truly in love with a few of these characters, I still want other readers to get to know them, become friends, and even love them too.
I'm ready to share these best friends, secret keepers, and super heroes.
